This past November my boyfriend, friends, and I spent a little over a week in Rome. Most of our days were spent wandering, eating, site-seeing, and more eating but my favorite part of our trip was the food tour we had in Trastevere. Trastevere is on the west side of Rome, right on the other side of the Tiber River that divides the area in two. We met our tour guide inside of a coffee shop in the central part of town. I never in my life thought being a food tour guide was a thing but my friends, after this tour I realized…this is my dream job. As a local guided us through different parts of town, we spent four hours tasting whole food; food made with time, care, passion and love.

The pasta and wine were amazing, but I’m going to cut to the chase here: the Tiramisu changed my life. My friends, every Tiramisu I’ve had up until this point in my life has been an ABOMINATION. Yup, I said it. Total abomination. I feel this strongly about it. It’s life-changing good. Top 3 experiences in Rome. I’m serious AF. Skip the fountain of trevi, the Spanish steps, and punch a spartan gladiator in the face. Come eat this friggin’ Tiramisu.
